The Virginia-Highland Summerfest is celebrating 40 years of fine art, live entertainment, and family fun in 2025! Year after year, our festival is considered one of the leading events in metro Atlanta, and we are excited to invite you to join our estimated 30,000 attendees over the weekend of June 7 & 8 in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood.

For 40 years, Atlantans have cherished the Virginia-Highland Summerfest. We’re pleased to have both a Juried Artist Market and Makers’ Market at Summerfest 2025. Prizes are awarded at the Artist Market.

FINE ART MARKET
Features artwork from some of the best artists in the southeast and beyond. The Fine art Section will be juried, with the judges being experienced art professionals with knowledge and experience in various art disciplines.

MAKERS’ MARKET
Includes handmade items such as soaps, lotions, candles, pet items, plants and delicious consumables such as nuts, chocolate, jams, honey, etc. These vendors are not allowed to sell t-shirts, clothing, crafts of any kind or home objects such as furniture or decorative objects, drinks, non-packaged food or toys

Music

Summerfest features local and national music talent.

The music stage will be located on the lawn of the middle/eastern section of John Howell Park (near Virginia and Barnett).

Kidfest

Kidsfest is located in the field next to Virginia Highland Elementary. Kidsfest features unique games, crafts and activities for children of all ages, many of which are free.
