Waconda Lakefest and Fireworks is an annual fundraiser for the Waconda Cultural Association for projects at Glen Elder State Park. Starting at 4:00 p.m., it includes food trucks, family activities, live music; with Fireworks hosted by Northwestern Well Service. Join us for competitions in cornhole and lake "basket golf," and Bingo for fun. No beer garden this year, but lots of great refreshments at our food trucks. Raffles and auction items. Wood sculpture demonstration and auctioning items. Enjoy Motorco, Chey and Henry Tice on stage. Event is free, but park pass required. Bring your own chairs and tents. Check out the Glen Elder Fun Run at 7;00 a.m., and the Poker Scavenger Hunter and biscuits and gravy at the Marina at 8:00 a.m.
