Founded in the 1960's, George Whittell is a small high school surrounded by pine forests overlooking Lake Tahoe in Zephyr Cove, Nevada.
George Whittell High School's Student Council is hosting this trail run. Come support students as they organize, plan, and host the race!
The race course will cross creeks and logs alongside many trees, rocks, and squirrels.
In addition to the 5K race, we have an 800 meter fun run for the little ones. Popsicles for all finishers in the fun run!
Runners, walkers, everyone are welcome to participate and enjoy some hot chocolate, medals, and good times!! To keep costs down and participation high, t-shirts are sold separately through the website. The shirts were designed by the students.
So sorry, but pets are NOT allowed on school property. The trail is also NOT stroller friendly unless you have a team to carry it through parts of the woods
