There will be 3 brackets in our FIBA style, 3×3 basketball tournament based on age (this will potentially be combined into 2 brackets depending on registrations).

U15 years old
15-17 years old
18+

All team members should be within the age range of the bracket that you choose. Brackets may be combined depending on registrations.

Cost: $30 per team of 3 or 4
Location: Brookside Primary School Gym
Time: 10am-3pm (Specific game times TBD)

Registration Details:

Advance registration is required. Only 1 team member needs to register here.

During registration, you will be asked for a Team Name (you get to make it up!) and the names of your 2 or 3 additional teammates. All players will be required to sign a liability waiver, provided at the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you do not have enough team members, feel free to reach out to Waterbury Rec for other contacts ([email protected]).

Tournament Details

This will be a double elimination tournament – each team is guaranteed at least 2 games. Brackets including game times will be posted a week before the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in each bracket!

Registration Minimum: 4 teams/bracket | Maximum: 8 teams/bracket.

If we do not meet minimum registration, the event could not take place. Waterbury Recreation will let registrants know if event is changed. The cancellation policy* does not apply in such circumstances.

*Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with less than a week’s notice are not refunded. Cancellations with 7 to 30 days notification receive a 75% refund. Cancellations with more than 30 days notice receive a full refund.
