On July 4th, we celebrate more than our nation’s independence—we celebrate the connections that make Waunakee feel like home. At WaunaBoom, friends, families, and neighbors come together for a day full of free activities, live music, delicious food, and spectacular fireworks. It's a celebration of laughter, lasting memories, and the kind of community spirit that reminds us we all belong.

Free Fun For Everyone
From high-flying thrills to hands-on adventure, WaunaBoom has free activities for all ages. Reach new heights on the bungee trampoline, race remote-controlled cars on our action-packed WaunaBoom race track, hop aboard the trackless train or pirate ship, and meet friendly animals at the petting farm. Take a turn on a hand-led pony ride, then cool off under the firetruck mister. Experience an awe-inspiring F-35 flyover, a Black Hawk fly-in, and the debut of the WaunaBoom Parachute Team. Plus, join a casual game of cornhole or volleyball and soak up the summer spirit. Come ready for adventure—there’s something for everyone!
