White Meadow Lake Festival Days is a 40+ year tradition that happens every summer here in our wonderful community. It’s a time where everyone can get together for family fun, good food, and fireworks, without having to fight traffic or drive for hours. Come on down this July and join in on the fun!

7:00am - 9:00am - 5K Race

Are you ready for the Toughest 5k in New Jersey?
The WML “Toughest” 5K in NJ is a USATF-NJ Certified Course.
Each year, our annual 5K race gets bigger and bigger! As the years have passed the event has grown. More and more runners and walkers alike want to see if it truly is tough. Friends and family alike continue to share the secret about this tough run. Here is YOUR opportunity to find out.

If you think you can handle it we welcome you to come and give it a shot. Here is the route that is run each year denoting the elevation. YOU do the math!

Even though this race is primarily for “runners”, we welcome anyone who wishes to walk the 5K as well. Children and walkers/runners with strollers are welcome as well. Water stations are positioned around the course, and our fantastic Rockaway Township Police, Fire and Rescue Squads are on-course making sure everyone stay safe.

Online pre-registration is available here. Race is RAIN OR SHINE. Signup starts at 7am. Race starts at 8am.

7:15am - 7:45am - 5k Stretching

Are you running in our 5K? Come to the lawn at 7:15 for prerace stretching and breathing exercises with Dean Cramp

9:30am - 11:00am - Canoe and Kayak Race

Right after the 5K Race, we continue the morning of athletics with our Annual Canoe, Kayak and Paddleboard race. Signups start around 930AM out on the swim lanes at Beach 1. All ages welcome.

10:00am - 10:45am - Kickboxing

11:00am - 12:00pm - Parade

Our annual parade is the kick-off event for the big Festival Day on Sunday!

Calling all residents AND POA Committees – we need YOU! Make a float for the parade and show your community spirit. Anyone can do it. A family, a street, a group or committee — be creative or just have fun walking in the parade and showing off your float. All float participants are judged and awards are handed out during our opening ceremonies right after the parade.

If you have a convertible or classic car, let us know and you can drive the parade route behind the floats.

Parade line-up starts at 11 on the corner of Calumet and Hibernia Road. The parade starts about 1130, travels down Hibernia Road, then left on White Meadow Road to the clubhouse flagpole.
