White Mountain Oktoberfest
Join us for the region's largest celebration of German food, drink, and music. This three-day festival perfectly coincides with fall foliage season, so you'll enjoy beer and brats alongside stunning views of New Hampshire's White Mountains.
What's On Tap
Live Music
The hills will be alive with the sound of Oompah! Guests will clap along and dance as the band plays polkas, waltzes, and other German-style favorites.
Beer Gardens (21+)
Adults will enjoy a range of seasonal beers from Samuel Adams inside and outside the Governor Adams Lodge and at the Paul Bunyan Room. In addition to classics like Oktoberfest and New England IPA, shandies and ciders from Angry Orchard, and Truly will also be available. White Mountain Oktoberfest steins are available. Celebrate responsibly.
Free Fall Games
White Mountain Oktoberfest wouldn't be the same without a full lineup of free fun games and activities for all ages. For those 21+, the Stein Carryin' & Keg Rollin' Relay, and Keg Toss are all-time event classics.
Daily Activities:
Axe Throwing
Channel your inner lumberjack and test your axe throwing skills with a two-target mobile axe throwing station. Instructors will share their knowledge as you try to hit the bullseye. (Ages 18 & up).
Face Painting
Get in the festive spirit with face painting! Our local artist will create animals, bugs, and a lot of other colorful masks to choose from.
Pretzel Necklaces
Pickup a kit from Snyder’s of Hanover and make your own necklace of these salty snacks. Please donate to Loon Mountain Area Community Fund to pick up your kit.
Touch-a-Truck
Kids can check out some of the big machinery that keeps Loon running every winter and summer. Kids will be hopping into the seat and getting behind the wheel. Free for all ages.
