Celebrate the snowy season at this annual family-friendly event, where you'll get the chance to participate in free indoor and outdoor activities, sample amazing food and drinks, and discover the reasons to look forward to winter-even if you hate the cold!

Look for special activities and interactive booths hosted by the Johnson County Historical Society, Coralville Parks & Recreation, the Coralville Police Department and more.

12:00 - 2:00 pm - Free events happening throughout the Iowa River Landing:

Events for the family
Horse-drawn carriage rides
Scavenger hunt for Dash at participating stores
Winter sports (weather permitting) like snowshoeing and broom ball
S’mores station
Free admission to the Johnson County Historical Society Museum
Young Footliters Youth Theatre & Coralville Library Activities at 860 Quarry Road, Iowa River Landing:
Crafts, free play puppets, and freestyle dance available throughout the afternoon! A new guided activity begins every half hour starting at 12:00 pm.

12:00 - 12:30 pm: Guided Drama: Be part of an original play!
12:30 - 1:00 pm: Storytime with Sara from the Coralville Library!
1:00 - 1:30 pm: Frozen Dance: Create a dance to a favorite song!
1:30 - 2:00 pm: Storytime with Sara from the Coralville Library!
Guided acting and dance activities best for ages 5 and up. Storytime best for age 2 and up.
2:00-4:00 pm  At the Heartlanders Hockey Game
The game puck drops at 3:00 pm. Heartlanders hockey ticket required for admission

Youth games and activities on the concourse including crafts and box hockey
Zamboni ride drawing
Bring skates to ice skate after the game
