Come celebrate with us at our Cherry Blossom 5 Miler on April 27 as we kick off our year-long celebration of 50 years as a running club!
Let’s celebrate spring in NEPA! Join us for the Wyoming Valley Striders 50th Annual Cherry Blossom 5-Mile Run, as we mark our 50th anniversary as a running club in 2025!
This exciting event will take place at Kirby Park, timed perfectly with the stunning cherry trees in full bloom. Be sure to check out the Cherry Blossom Festival happening in the park this weekend!
Course
The start and finish of the run will be in the meadow area in Kirby Park then fast and flat, out and back over a macadam pavement on the dike.
Awards:
50th Anniversary Medals will be awarded to the top male and female overall, as well as the top 3 males and top 3 females in each age group.
