The WVTA 2024 Festival will be on the beautiful campus of West Virginia Wesleyan and will consist of (at least) three days of performances, workshops, speakers, design projects, performance projects, scholarship opportunities, networking, socializing, and will be a wonderful way to grow theatre in the state of WV.

There are several ways to be involved.

1. HS Theatre Programs :
A. HS Theatre programs can attend the festival to watch the one-act plays, attend workshops, participate in design presentations, audition for scholarships, and connect with other students interested in theatre.
B. HS Programs can do all of that AND bring a 44:59 minute (or less) play to perform as part of the one-act festival.

Many students/programs will be recognized for successes AND one of the one-acts will be awarded the opportunity to perform their show at the SETC Regional HS One-Act festival in March.

2. Community Theatre Programs :
A. Community Theatre programs can attend the festival to watch the one-act plays, attend workshops, network with other theatre artists, and hear more about the benefits of joining AACT.
B.Community Theatre Programs can do all of that AND bring a 59:59 minute (or less) play to perform as part of the one-act festival and could potentially be invited to perform at the SETC CT Festival.

We are planning a wonderfully positive experience with this year's festival that should impact every theatre program involved.
