60th Anniversary of the Yarmouth Clam Festival
A milestone that reflects six decades of tradition, volunteerism, and community spirit.
What began in 1965 as a local clambake has grown into Maine's largest free-admission festival, drawing more than 100,000 visitors each year. Behind the scenes, hundreds of volunteers work together to create a weekend full of food, entertainment, and meaningful community impact.

10:00 am: Opening Ceremonies
Celebrate the Official Opening of the 60th Anniversary of the Yarmouth Clam Festival on Memorial Green, featuring Downeasters Barbershop Chorus singing the National Anthem. Don't forget to take a photo with Steamer!
Location: Memorial Green Stage
10:00 am - 8:00 pm: Fine Art and Craft Show
Juried craft and fine art show has a fine selection of jewelry, clothing, collectibles, pottery, wood carvings, handcrafted items and fine art.
Location: North Yarmouth Academy Lawn (both sides of the street)
10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Run Pre-Registration and Race Package Pick-Up
For Kids' Fun Run and Pat's Pizza 5-Mile Road Race
Location: Memorial Green
10:00 am - 11:00 pm: Carnival
Rides and amusements by Smokey's Greater Shows.
Location: Bennett Field by Rowe School
10:00 am - 8:00 pm: Sensory Break Tent
Location: Memorial Library Garden
11:30 am - 10:30 pm: Free Entertainment
Over 18 hours of entertainment from local and regional bands, competitions, presentations, and demonstrations across 4 stages. Memorial Green Stage (near food circle), North Yarmouth Academy Stage, Library Stage, and First Parish Stage (past NYA).

6:00 pm - 7:30 pm: Clam Festival Parade
"Come Together: A Retro Rewind to the 60's" themed Parade. We encourage everyone to come out and walk/ride in the parade that fits the theme. Application coming soon.
