The Bibb County Farmers Market was established in 2009 with a grant for tables and tensts from the Alabama Farmers Market Authority. We were established to provide a locally-grown source of fresh fruits and vegetables for our citizens and to provide an outlet for our local farmers. We are a producer-only market.

Over the years, the market has grown to include Arts and Crafts Festivals in the spring and at fall harvest. In addition to fruits and vegetables, our farmer/vendors provide boiled peanuts, jams, relishes, pickles, honey, homemade ice cream, small cakes, and cookies. Instructions of food preparation and recipes for the fruits and vegetables are always available.
