Cerritos Skate Park

19900 Bloomfield Avenue
562-916-1254

The 10,000-square foot skate park was built by the City for local skating enthusiasts at a cost of $316,724. Some $242,811 of the cost was funded by a Los Angeles County Park Bond Act.

The park was designed by Purkiss Rose Landscape Architecture to provide a safe and challenging place for skateboarders and in-line skaters of all experience levels. The location, at the east end of the Sports Complex, north of the tennis courts, was selected with help from nearby residents and Sports Complex patrons.

The 90-foot by 120-foot park offers a dozen cement "street elements" such as benches, ramps, rails and curbs as well as pyramids, snake runs, hips and bowls.
