The CUMC Pumpkin Patch is open! The pumpkin patch has been a CUMC tradition for over 25 years.
During the month of October, thousands of people pass through our patch. Not only is the pumpkin patch a fundraising effort for our Student Ministry, but it also serves as an outreach to our community. Granny Pumpkin talks and sings with children's groups visiting our campus, sharing with them the story of salvation, while the children sit among the bales of hay and pumpkins. The Fall Festival that coincides with the patch offers many fun activities, as well as the opportunity to receive information about Jesus. There is always the invitation to join us in worship and activities throughout the year!
This year's Fall Festival will take place Saturday, October 18th, from 10am - 2pm. Bring some friends to enjoy this great day in the patch with a bounce house, games, crafts and petting zoo. You will also want to browse our Pumpkin Store, Scholastic Book Fair, and Rummage Sale for missions. Food, drinks, and treats will be available to purchase. Mark your calendar now! It is sure to be a gorgeous day in the patch, with something for every member of the family!
The Student Ministry is supplemented by the profit of the patch, providing money for camp, retreats, and other special events throughout the year.
