The Glacier Ice Arena is Illinois' premier, state-of-the-art ice arena. Come watch a game, or skate in comfortable, modern surroundings. The Glacier was built in 1999, and features two NHL size ice surfaces and has been a place for families to have fun ever since.

The Glacier Ice Arena's modern lobby is bright, spacious and is illuminated with natural light from huge panoramic windows. You can keep up with the latest news or follow your favorite teams progress on one of the four high definition TV’s that are ideally located around the lobby. We also have an amazing selection of signed hockey shirts on display, so why not check them out to see if we have your favorite player?
Who skates here?
We have two full size NHL ice surfaces that both have seating for 350 spectators. We are the proud home of the very successful Ice Dogs Hockey Club, which feature house and travel teams. There is a very active adult league, a rapidly growing figure skating program, Learn to skate classes for all ages and levels and much much more.
