The Henry Foundation for Botanical Research offers 50 acres of beautiful gardens, plants, and wonderful views. Founded in 1948 by botanist and plant explorer Mary Gibson Henry (1884-1967) to showcase the plants she collected on her expeditions through remote areas of the West, Midwest and Southeast, the Henry Foundation encompasses 50 acres of a surprisingly remote site in the steep hills of Gladwyne near the Schuylkill River.
