About:
Hill Creek Farms is a 63-acre farm located in the countryside of South Harrison Township, NJ. Hill Creek Farms first began growing apples in 2006, when Farmer Fred initially planted 3,300 apple trees. Our orchard has been steadily growing ever since and we now have 17,000 apple trees, and we also grow plums, Asian pears, and nectarines. The goal of Hill Creek Farms is to give the public an opportunity to visit a working farm and enjoy agritourism (agricultural tourism) with their families. Our farm market offers fresh produce from either local and/or organic growers that Farmer Fred knows personally, which goes with his tagline, “Know your grower who knows his growers.” Hill Creek Farms, through the services of Rastelli Market Fresh, now offers farm-to-table dinners, ready-to-eat meals, and farm-to-your-table services utilizing the freshest vegetables coming directly from our farms. While our prices are as competitive as any supermarket chain, what sets us apart is the fact that we personally know our growers and we deliver the freshness our customers desire. Hill Creek Farms also has an on-site bakery, a commercial cider mill, and is approved to sell and serve wine from Auburn Winery.
Hill Creek Farms grows vegetables both on site and on 10 acres on Lincoln Mill Rd., also in South Harrison Township. With farm manager Mario Caltabiano, a 3rd-generation vegetable grower in the township, Hill Creek Farms has opened a vegetable division of the farm to serve both our clients and our chefs the freshest ingredients and most flavorful vitamin-packed veggies that our environmentally conscious farm has to offer.
So make a day of it in the country, at the antiques mecca of Mullica Hill, NJ and out in the orchard at Hill Creek Farms!
