KUA Cumbie Canine Court is situated on an island inside of Kissimmee's Mill Slough Park. The 6.3-acre lush grounds feature a canopy of mature oak trees surrounded by a meandering stream. The space, which is wheelchair accessible, also features parking, a concrete path, separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, benches, picnic tables, drinking fountains with attached pet fountains, trash receptacles and waste receptacles with bag dispensers.
The park honors community volunteer Fred H. Cumbie who served for a decade on the board of directors of the Kissimmee Utility Authority, Florida's sixth largest municipal electric utility.
