Laughlin Regional Heritage Greenway Trail

SR 163 and Casino Drive

The Laughlin Regional Heritage Greenway Trail project will improve recreational opportunities and facilities for Laughlin's citizens and visitors.  It will offer attractions to a wider variety of visitors, increasing Laughlin's potential as a destination of regional importance.  It will support the larger concept of a regional trail system, linking the South Reach to the North Reach and to Arizona.  It will provide for responsible, managed development of the federal lands in the North Reach.  It will enhance user understanding of the natural and cultural history of the area.  It will provide a framework for future development of commercial and non-commercial recreational uses. The project is concentrated on the town of Laughlin, but is only part of a proposed larger emphasis on development of public recreational and event facilities in the area.  It also anticipates linking to a regional network of trails extending far downstream on the Nevada side of the Colorado River and
even into Arizona.
