Maggie's Bark Park

138 Claude Yates Drive

Maggie's Bark Park, a Williamson County Facility, is the first off-leash dog park in the great State of Tennessee and is located right behind our facility.

Local residents Andrew and Karen Menzyk donated funds to establish this wonderful park in memory of their Bearded Collie, Maggie, who was a member of their family for nearly 15 years. Their primary goal was to increase public awareness of the adoptable animals and other services provided at Williamson County Animal Control.

Features & Amenities

Our fabulous park offers a quarter mile walking trail and two fenced areas. The larger of the two areas features agility equipment for adult dogs.

Maggie's Bark Park also has lights, a drinking fountain, covered benches, and kiddy pools for pooches that love the water - these are very popular during the hot, humid summer months!

A gazebo donated by Kay and Cindy Owen provides a comfortable place to relax.

The park operates unmanned from dusk until dawn every day of the week. Weekends can be a really busy and fun place to make both four-legged and two-legged friends.
