This 52-acre park, named for the late U. S. Senator from Florida, Claude Pepper, is located along the beautiful warm blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. This spot is a popular location for snorkelers and divers, as there are several shallow nearshore reefs located less than 100 yards off the beach. It’s also the site of state’s first underwater archeological preserve, the Urca de Lima, which is located in about 20 feet of water. Rentals: pavilions.
