The Purpose and Vision of Pua Mau Place

A major focus of the garden is ever-blooming woody plants. The name Pua Mau means ever-blooming in Hawaiian.

A mission of Pua Mau Place is to educate and promote awareness of, and conduct research on, the uses of flowering plants in a Hawaiian arid environment for ornamental, agricultural and bio-regional purposes.

One of the purposes for Pua Mau Place garden is to create a place for serious plant enthusiasts and horticultural researchers to pursue their interests.
