Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza

780 East Stoner Avenue

The 12,500 square feet Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza is located on the Shreveport Riverfront at the end of Stoner Avenue and Clyde Fant Parkway. This skate park was developed and designed by SPAR, local skaters, and with direct assistance from Rob Dyrdek and the DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation. Originally built in 2006, the skate park received extensive renovations in 2011 by California Skateparks through a generous gift from the Rob Dyrdek Foundation.

The Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza mimics downtown and urban elements such as: steps, benches, ramps and handrails. Parking is available.

The skate plaza concept is the future of skating. The City of Shreveport was only the second city in the United States to create and bring this concept to fruition. The Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza Park is open 24 hours a day.
