Located just six miles south of Tupelo, Mississippi - Tombigbee State Park offers the finest in outdoor recreation opportunities minutes from one of Mississippi's premier shopping, dining and entertainment areas. Tupelo is the site of the bi-annual Tupelo Furniture Market; home of the Elvis Presley Birthplace; and the headquarters of the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Stay the Night
There are several options to stay the night. The park offers 20 developed campsites for RVs or tents, a primitive camping area, 7 cabins, 1 cottage, and a group camp facility.

Reservations are encouraged. Reservations can be made by online reservation or by calling the park at (662) 842-7669. Our online reservation system is hosted by Reserve America.

Things to Do
Activities and recreational facilities available at Tombigbee State Park include: picnic area with tables and grills, picnic pavilions, meeting room and banquet facilities, children's playground, multi-use field, volley ball, disc golf, nature trail, and fishing on Lake Lee.

Picnic and Play Areas

Picnic Area
The park features 37 lakeside picnic sites with tables and grills. The area features views of Lake Lee and the surrounding forested area.

Two picnic pavilions provide a great location for group outings such as family reunions, company picnics, and school or church outings. Each pavilion is located on a wooded hill overlooking Lake Lee. Pavilions are available by reservation up to 24 months in advance by calling the park office at (662) 842-7669.

Children's Playground

Playground equipment is centrally located in the day use area, and features modern units with slides and swings. Also in this area are old favorites such as monkey bars and a merry-go-round.

Volleyball
A sand volleyball court is located in the day use area near the play equipment.

Multi-use Field
A grassed field is available for use by groups for a game of football, baseball, or soccer.

Disc Golf

Tombigbee State Park offers two disc golf courses. Each is an 18-hole, par-three course. These courses wind through the wooded hills of the park, and offer beautiful scenery along with the challenge of the course.

The courses are open to the public free of charge, however, the daily park entrance fee is required. Discs may be rented at the park office.

Fishing and Boat Launch

Fishing is featured at Lake Lee, a 90 acre freshwater lake stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 16 and 65. Licenses may be purchased at the park office for a nominal fee.

A boat launch and trailer parking is available for park guests who bring their boats to fish. Guests are asked to observe trolling speed only limits. No skiing or jet skis are permitted.
