A friendly, neighborly place to visit would be Wilson Park. Located at the intersection of Wilson Road and Hughes Lane, Wilson Park offers a picnic area which can be guaranteed for your use by making a reservation. In addition to the picnic area, this park has a basketball court and tennis courts with available lighting for the short days of the winter and spring seasons. There is also a volley ball area just North of the parking area on the East side of the park.

If your family enjoys baseball, there is a backstop located at this park which can be used on a first-come-first-served basis. Bring your family and friends, enjoy a barbeque picnic, then have a great game of baseball!

Wilson Park even offers something for "man's best friend". There is a large enclosed no-leash area for your dog to run, exercise, and socialize with other canines, while their human companions meet and visit with other people.
