In March of 2007 a strong storm damaged our early 1900's barn to the point that it had to be torn down.  This provided us with over an acre of land that we now had to find a use for.

Having just spent over $50 on pumpkins for Halloween, we talked about planting our own the next year.  We saved the seeds from the pumpkins we bought that Fall and planted them the following Spring.  We had no idea how many pumpkins would actually grow on an acre of ground.

The pumpkin patch has provided our family with a lot of fun and excitement.  Our boys love to go "check the pumpkins" everyday to see how big they are getting.  While it has been a lot of hard work, we've enjoyed every minute of it.  We hope our pumpkins provide your family with some great memories.
