Midas Football Academy in its quest to reduce obesity and tackle mental health among children and teenagers in Houston and the Houston Metropolitan areas is organizing its first 5K walk and run in a fun and friendly atmosphere
The event is slated for Saturday 21st of September 2024 at the academy's training ground which is the Four Corners Community Park at 15700 Old Richmond Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77498
“The childhood obesity awareness month will begin on September 1st and run through September 30th. The goal is to raise $15,000 to help 200 boys and girls develop structured athletic activities for children and teenagers in the community to reduce obesity and eliminate behavioral issues.
This is our first year campaign towards this cause. Reaching the $15,000 goal will allow our nonprofit to take soccer to more underserved communities so more children and teenagers can have a right to play.
