The Midwest RADFest is hosted and supported by Southwest Michigan's oldest professional dance company, Wellspring-Cori Terry and Dancers. The festival is a juried event held in downtown Kalamazoo with most events scheduled at the Epic Center. The festival features the best in modern, post-modern, and contemporary dance from all over the world. RADFest offers emerging, professional, and experimental artists the opportunity to present their work without financial commitment; while including opportunities for professional development, master classes, lectures, discussion panels, and networking events.
RADFest 2025 will present live stage performance, installation and alternative space works, a Screendance film series, master classes, workshops, a mediated discussion group, youth showcase, and several different networking opportunities for artists and patrons. Selected artists receive a presenting stipend and opportunity to apply for lodging assistance. All artists receive promotional and media coverage. Additionally, RADFest offers audience development events; open rehearsals, Q and A sessions, open lectures, and interactive performances.
