"Buddy's Run to the Rescue" is a 5K Race, Fun Run, 1-mile dog walk, and Kid's Fun Run that will wander through the streets of historic Jefferson, Texas.  Held in conjunction with the fundraising event, Woofstock, all proceeds will benefit the Friends of Jefferson Animals and is a family and dog friendly event.  As Marion County's only provider of animal rescue, the Friends of Jefferson Animals (also known as FOJA) are reliant upon donations and volunteers to continue their efforts.  Buddy, the namesake of our run, is one of FOJA's earliest rescues... and is well-known celebrity in town.

The first 50 registrants will receive a free carb-loading spaghetti dinner from the Jefferson Outpost, served between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm the evening prior to the race!
