NEW Music Fest kicks off in 2024, featuring Kaitlyn Kilian Music & tribute to fiddle legend Byron Berline! Celebrating Caldwell's Wild West history, annually every first full weekend in May. Fri Night Pub Crawl, Cattle Drive, Beer Garden, Shooting Range, Murder Mystery and so much more!

A fresh take on the Old West as Caldwell celebrates her Border Queen history on the legendary Chisholm Trail that became our Main Street and US Hwy 81.  2024 is the 30th year of the Fest!  We'll hoot & hollar with gunfights & dance hall girls, a cattle drive on Main, launch a new MUSIC FEST, tip our hat in tribute to our very own fiddle legend Byron Berline, plus 2 cool new additions to the Border Queen Museum!  With plenty of action for all ages including self-guided tours year-round, Caldwell has a unique history to explore at our Trails, Rails, and Scales Visitor Center, the downtown historical sign walking tour, or at the Border Queen Museum.  Get into History, get into Caldwell!  Boots & Hat optional, but a lot of fun!
