KIDS MARATHON

Dorothy's Rootbeer Run - Children's Marathon

The Ely Marathon is working hard to instill the joy of running in children!

All we ask is that children run 25 miles at some point prior to race day.  On race day, they will complete the final 1.2 miles of the course.

The children's race will begin at 8:45 AM on Sheridan Street, between 13th and 14th Ave East.

Race packets for the racers can be picked up Friday, September 20th between 12-10:00 PM at Whiteside Park, or at the start line on Saturday morning.  You may drop your child off at the start line, however keep in mind that road closures, including Sheridan will be in affect!

Please note that it will be possible to watch the kids start their race and then walk over to the finish line at Whiteside Park to see them finish!

Finishers will receive the Ely Marathon medal, bottle of Dorothy Molter Root Beer and finishers shirt.

There will be additional awards for the top 3 male and female finishers.

This race is in coordination with the Dorothy Molter Museum.
