First Day Hikes (Guided)

Join rangers for our annual First Day Hike to celebrate the New Year.

Want to join rangers for a hike but not do the full Tri-Park-A-Thon? No worries! Join either Ranger Izzy at the Nature Center for our 2-mile Cross Timbers (paved) hike or Ranger Brett at the Dogwood Canyon Parking Lot for the 5.5-mile Dogwood Canyon (unpaved) hike.

Bring: Sunscreen, bug spray, water, and weather appropriate clothes.

Cost: Program is included in park fees ($7 per person 13 years and older, free for 12 years and younger).

Location: Nature Center- 2-mile Cross Timbers Paved Trail or Dogwood Canyon Parking Lot for the 5.5-mile unpaved Trail

Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees.
