Start your year off right with a walk outside!

Join a ranger on an exploratory walk of Turks Cap Trail! Participants will receive a First Day Hike sticker while supplies last.

Where: Meet at the Turks Cap trailhead that is near site #157. This is the trailhead that is near the Warbler Way restrooms and the Youth Group Area.

Terrain: mostly flat, zero elevation gain

Length: 1 mile

Bring: Hydration, comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, bug spray, and sun protection.

FYI:

- Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Children under two years of age must be seated on the lap of a guardian.

- Pets are not allowed on the tram.

- Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Annual Pass.

- Large groups please email Sara Rock for a private event.

- Program may be cancelled if no participants are present within 10 minutes of the start time, or in the case of inclement weather.
