Start at the Sackets Harbor Battlefield's historic Union Hotel building 401 West Main St., corner of West Main and Ray Sts. Open 1pm to 3pm to pick up a suggested hike route map and "giveaway" gift. The map is also on the NY State Parks website, Sackets Harbor Battlefield page under "maps." Dress for the weather conditions, especially waterproof footwear. In case of icy conditions, the hike will be cancelled.
