Ranger Drake Fohey will lead a 1.9-mile hike on Jasper Lake Trail on New Year’s Day. This natural-surface trail loops around Jasper Lake and shares a section with Agate Lake Trail. Hikers may see a variety of birds in this area, including eastern bluebirds, Baltimore orioles and numerous kinds of waterfowl.
This hike is considered moderately difficult and is expected to take 1 hour and 25 minutes to complete. Participants are encouraged to bring water and dress for the weather. This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Pets are welcome but must be leashed.
Registration is required, and a sign-up link will be available on our reservation website. If the hike is canceled, registrants will be contacted using the information they provided at the time of registration.
