7:30-10am: Bird Walk at the Ocean Course at Nature Center at Night Heron Park
The Ocean Course is home to some of the richest bird habitats on Kiawah Island. Freshwater ponds, salt marshes, and the beach come together to create an incredibly diverse habitat for shorebirds, wading birds, and songbirds, among many others. Join a naturalist on this unique birdwatching tour to learn about the bird species that make Kiawah Island such a special place.

9-10am: Yoga on the Beach at The Sanctuary Front Beach
Enjoy a morning of hatha yoga with a blend of slow to moderate pace vinyasa and longer held restorative poses. We work at a beginner to intermediate level and focus on using breath to create body awareness, calm the mind, and build strength and flexibility all while taking in the beauty of the beach. Previous yoga experience is not required.

10:30-11:30am: Group Surf Lessonat Sanctuary Beach Access
Kiawah is the perfect beach to learn the fundamentals of surfing. Join us as your seasoned instructors help you gain the confidence to surf independently.
Sessions are available throughout the summer. Participants should be confident swimmers. Suitable for ages 8 and above.

11am-12pm: Archery Lesson at Night Heron Park
Join us on the archery range to put your skills to the test. Enjoy a staff instructed lesson with various stationary targets and interactive games. Great for beginners and first-timers.
$45/person, open to ages 8 and up. Participants must be able to confidently pull a 15 lb bowstring. Reservations required, please call 843.768.6001. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Subject to availability.
12-2pm: Snow Cone Party at Night Heron Park Stage
Come enjoy a red, white, and blue snow cone or cool off with one of our other flavors!
Snow cones are available for purchase. Reusable cups will be available for purchase to receive a reduced rate on snow cones later in the week. No reservation is required.
12:45-1:30pm: Lego Building Competition at Night Heron Park Stage
Come bring your design skills and creativity to build the most creative and patriotic Lego design! The winner of this competition will receive a prize.
Admission is complimentary, no reservations required.
1:30-2:30pm: Duck Derby at West Beach Pool
Choose and customize your favorite patriotic racer, come up with your most creative name and enter the bracket style tournament to watch them go head to head down the water slide.
Please note the Kiawah Island Golf Resort pool usage is exclusive to resort guests and Governor's Club members. Event is complimentary.
1:30-2:30pm: Music Bingo in the Park at Night Heron Park Stage
Join us in the park for a patriotic spin on your favorite game, Music Bingo. Try your luck with American classics like Born in the U.S.A. and Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue. Fun for the whole family! First round begins at 1:30pm.

3-4:30pm: Minute To Win It at Night Heron Park Stage
Do you crack under pressure? Gather a team and get ready for a fast-paced 4th of July challenge. It's time to find out while completing 60-second tasks to see who has what it takes. Test your skills on mini games such as star spangled shootout and state race in our patriotic spin on Minute To Win It.
$15/team. Maximum of 6 people per team, maximum of 10 teams. Reservations required, please call 843.768.6001. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies.
4-5pm: Shark Tooth and Shell Necklaces at Turtles' Nest Art Studio
Join us for a fun and creative family craft where you can make your own unique necklace. You'll have the chance to choose a shark tooth or shell and add colorful beads to design your own personalized piece of jewelry. Whether you're crafting with friends or family, this hands-on activity is perfect for all ages.
$20/necklace. No reservations are required.
4-6pm: Alligator Adventure at Night Heron Park
From tiny hatchlings to imposing adults, Kiawah is in no short supply of the American Alligator. This Naturalist guided van tour is a fantastic way to safely observe and learn about these amazing, and often misunderstood animals in their natural habitat. Equipped with binoculars, you and your family will disembark from Night Heron Park and travel to our favorite alligator hang outs. While we will spend some time in the van, walking will be involved at each location.

5-6:30pm: The Vanderhorst Mystery at Night Heron Pavilion
Step into the mysterious world of The Vanderhorst Manor on Kiawah Island for an evening you soon won't forget. You've been invited to a special dinner by the elusive James Vanderhorst. One thing is certain—someone at the table has a secret, and before the night ends, the truth must be uncovered. Secrets are waiting to be discovered, but who will uncover them first—and who will manage to keep their own hidden?

5:30-6:30pm: Candle Making at Turtles' Nest Art Studio
Join us for a fun, hands-on candle-making experience where you'll create a one-of-a-kind candle from start to finish. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the candle-making process, from selecting your scent to designing your label.

7-8:30pm: Rick Hubbard and the Kazoobie Kazoo Show: Red, White, and Blue Show at Night Heron Park Stage
Our fan favorite, Rick Hubbard, is back for his famous summer concerts on the Night Heron Park Stage. Join in on the fun and participate in the finale with your very own kazoo!
Admission is complimentary, no reservations required. A limited amount of picnic table seating available. Blankets and beach chairs recommended. Schedule subject to change.
7-8:30pm: Teen Pickleball Night: Glow Theme at Roy Barth Tennis Center
Come out for an exciting night of pickleball just for teens. Enjoy the games, lively music, a glow party, and a friendly but competitive atmosphere. It's the perfect chance to hang out with friends and make new ones. Don't forget your paddle, a limited supply will be available for use.
Admission is complimentary, no reservations required. For ages 13-17. Schedule subject to change.
8-9pm: Night Beach Walk at Nature Center at Night Heron Park
This is a tour the whole family will enjoy! Join an experienced Naturalist on an evening beach stroll to learn all about the native wildlife on Kiawah. From our gorgeous maritime forests to our stunning beach dunes, there is so much to see. Once the sun sets, a new world opens up for us to explore, and the nocturnal creatures of Kiawah begin to awaken. Together you and your Naturalist will listen for insect and owl calls in the forest, talk about our wonderful sea turtle and beach ecology, and maybe even find a shell or two!
