10:00am - 12:00pm : 2025 Scholarship Competition Semi-Finals

Witness the talent of the Scholarship Competition semi-finalists as they compete for $50,000 in awards for a panel of GTMF musicians and Maestro Runnicles. GTMF will host the 8th Annual Scholarship Competition in honor of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles. The competition is open to graduating high school seniors from Wyoming, Idaho or Montana who are pursuing a music degree in college. Free and open to the public.

Orchestra and audience favorite Stéphane Denève returns to Walk Festival Hall to transport us to ancient Greece and Rome. But first, Jessie Montgomery's thrilling Strum sets the stage for international guitar sensation JIJI, as she brings even more instrumental color to the evening on Rodrigo's ever popular Concierto de Aranjuez.

Join us for a pre-concert talk at 5 PM with Caroline Gilbert, GTMF Violin, in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall's north entrance. Talks are sponsored by the Goodman Family Foundation, in memory of Roy and Barbara Goodman.
