Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host its 19th Annual 5K Run/Walk at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA. The purpose of the run is to raise money for charity causes selected by both groups, Guns & Hoses. The charity for Cherokee Sheriff's Office (Guns) is the Charlie Ferguson Community Center which stands as a symbol of the power of volunteerism and community engagement. Formerly a volunteer fire station, this center provides after-school programs, senior activities, events, and other flexible functions. They are located at 1398 Reinhardt College Parkway, Canton. The charity for the Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses) is the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, which is a non-profit home serving young men in the state foster care system. When registering, the runner will select the team that they want to represent, and a portion of their registration fee will go towards their chosen charity.

$30.00 - Early Bird (November 11, 2024 - January 19, 2025)
$35.00 - Regular Registration (January 20, 2025 - February 7, 2025)
$40.00 - Day of Registration (Saturday, February 8, 2025) at Hobgood Park at concessions.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash!
