Join us for Pickle in the Park. $40 Tournament Registration Fee – this fee is for the team so only one person will need to register their team.  Men’s & Women’s 55+, Mixed Doubles 55+, Youth, Beginner, Men’s & Women’s Intermediate, Men’s & Women’s Advanced, Intermediate & Advanced Mixed

12:00 pm-1:00 pm : Friday Lunchtime Live w/ ETSU’s Bluegrass Pride Band

The East Tennessee State University Bluegrass Pride Band is comprised of virtuosic and award-winning student performers with many years of musical experience. As one of the Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Program’s 30+ bands, the group has performed in seven foreign countries and at noteworthy venues including the Smithsonian National Folklife Festival, NATO Headquarters in Brussels, and the Kennedy Center. Bring a blanket or chair and your lunch or buy lunch from one of our local food trucks that will be at the Kingsport Farmers Market for the performance. This event is free and open to the public

1:00 pm-6:00 pm : Fun Fest Wiffle Ball 

The Fun Fest Wiffle Ball Tournament is back! This tournament is for boys and girls 15 and under. Team rosters can include up to 10 players, but only 6 will play in the field. All games, prior to the championship, will be played at The Sandlot (280 Hales Chapel Rd., Gray, TN). The Championship game will be at the Miracle Field (2017 Brickyard Park Dr., Kingsport, TN). Parking will be in the upper parking lot at Hales Chapel Christian Church in Gray.

6:30 pm-8:30 pm : Fun Fest Parade presented by Food City

Join us for the official Fun Fest kick off with a parade through downtown Kingsport! Bring a chair and watch as floats parade through the streets.
The parade will begin at Clinchfield and West Center Street, travel down center Street, make a turn onto East Sullivan Street, travel from Sullivan Street through Church Circle and end back at Clinchfield Street.

8:00 pm-10:00 pm : Broad Street Boogie presented by HMG – featuring Roux Du Bayou Cajun Band

Keep the fun going immediately following the Fun Fest parade and join us for Broad Street Boogie, presented by Holston Medical Group. This year we’ll enjoy music from Roux Du Bayou Cajun Band. The show will take place around 8 p.m. in the 100 Block of Broad Street. Bring a chair and enjoy the sounds of summer in Downtown Kingsport. There will be food trucks set up. Roux du Bayou Cajun Band plays authentic cajun, zydeco, swamp pop, mardi gras music. The band can also incorporate some select style music from Oldies, Rock n Roll, R&B and vintage country. This event is free and open to the public.
