Hamlet
"To be, or not to be that is the question" (Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 1). One month following the death of his father, Hamlet finds himself witnessing the marriage of his mother to his uncle. Shortly following the ceremony, Hamlet is greeted by his trusted friend, Horatio, who tells him that he and others have witnessed his father’s ghost haunting the castle grounds. Amazed, Hamlet agrees to attend the watch with them in hopes of speaking to it. When the ghost arrives, Hamlet learns that his father was tragically murdered by his uncle, King Hamlet’s own brother. The ghost entreat’s Hamlet to avenge his death, to which he agrees. The play then follows Hamlet as he, along with the kingdom, unravels from the consequences of life, love, and betrayal.
