A magical blend of fine music by outstanding performers in one of the most enchanting sites in Northern California. Evenings include orchestra concerts, Big Band, chamber music ensembles, dance, blues, jazz, world, folk, bluegrass and popular contemporary music. Daytime concerts include lecture/recitals at the Piano Series, a performance by participants in the Emerging Artists Program, and small concerts in intimate venues throughout the historic town of Mendocino.

5:30 p.m: Opera Preview Party (Brian James and Shariq Yosufzai Residence)
in a stunning seaside setting, with a small gathering of fellow opera lovers, grazing on delicacies both savory and sweet, sipping fine wines and other libations, enhanced by the ‘golden hour’ ambience of a mid-June North Coast evening meeting Artistic Director Allan Pollack and guest conductors Francesco Lecce-Chong and Ryan Murray, and hearing Ryan, who’ll conduct July’s Don Pasquale, share opera insights with the sun approaching the watery horizon, hearing Ryan accompany soprano Carrie Hennessey and tenor Sal Atti in a sampling of arias.
