Various Venues in Breckenridge

The National Repertory Orchestra is excited to announce the 2025 Summer Music Festival, Discover the NRO, which will take audiences on a musical journey inspired by the many reasons people are drawn to Summit County. From the pursuit of joy to the spirit of adventure, each concert will explore a unique facet of what makes Breckenridge-and the NRO-unforgettable.

Schedule of Events:

10:00 am - 11:00 am: Keystone Encore - River Run Village

The NRO returns to Keystone, its former home base from 1987-1992, for an outdoor community concert series held in the Quaking Aspen Amphitheater and River Run Village. We're thrilled to bring live music back to this scenic mountain setting, reconnecting with the community through vibrant performances in two of Keystone's most beautiful venues.

6:00 pm: Discover Jubilation - Riverwalk Center

From sunlit trails to festive mountain gatherings, Summit County bursts with moments of pure celebration and shared joy. Experience the joy, energy, and exuberance of music with a vibrant program that captures the pure delight of living in the mountains. The evening opens with Carlos Simon's Four Black American Dances, a dynamic work that blends classical and contemporary influences as a tribute to the rich cultural traditions and expressive power of Black American dance. Stravinsky's Pulcinella Suite follows, a playful ballet score inspired by 18th-century commedia dell'arte. Bursting with charm, humor, and lively melodies, this suite is a joyful nod to the past with Stravinsky's unmistakable modern twist. The concert concludes with Arturo Márquez's Conga del Fuego Nuevo, a fiery and rhythmic showpiece inspired by the conga dance, with infectious melodies and explosive energy that will have you tapping your feet and smiling in delight.
