10:30am-11:30am: Elsa Party at Cutie Curls, 49 Long Wharf Mall, Newport

Come join Elsa for a magical day at Cutie Curls. You wil be able to create art, decorate a cupcake, do a scavenger hunt and color. This will all be with the help of your favorite Princess. Elsa loves tea talk and wil spend the whole time answering princess questions. 10am, 12pm, & 2pm: Beautiful Beach Trail Rides at Newport Equestrian Academy, 287 Third Beach Rd. Just 10 mins from Newport!

We offer beautiful 2hr beach trail rides, a scenic trail ride with a castle up on the Hill, it looks like you're in Ireland with breathtaking Coastal views. Inexperienced riders are welcome. We do give you instruction before you go out.

10am-2pm: Touro Synagogue Open House at Entrance Loeb Visitors Center, 52 Spring St, Newport

Start your visit at the Loeb Visitors Center and explore multimedia exhibits about Newport's colonial Jewish community and the origins of

religious freedom in the United States. Then step inside Touro Synagogue, one of the most architecturally distinguished buildings of 18th century America. And finally, end your visit with cookies and cider on the patio.

Step back in time to the Gilded Age at The Breakers (44 Ochre Point Ave) and Marble House (596 Bellevue Ave) and hear fascinating stories of the people who lived and worked in these grand summer palaces.

Warm up, and toast to the new year with our annual WINEter Festival! Two days full of grape stomping, wine and beer tasting, and eating tasty festive treats! 7pm: Rhode Island Wind Ensemble Concert: Newport's Greatest Hits at Newport Marriott Hotel Atrium, 25 America's Cup Ave

The Rhode Island Wind Ensemble will make its annual return to Newport's Winter Festival this year at the Newport Marriott Hotel on Sunday evening, February 18th at 7:00 pm in 'Newport's Greatest Hits,' a benefit concert for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center of Newport. Admission is free, and all donations will go directly to the MLK Center.

Cost: free; suggested donation $10.

9pm: Tropical Drink Contest at The Gas Lamp Grille, 206 Thames Street.
