Experience Music, History, and Nature at The Sembrich
Our 2025 festival, The Gilded Age, views the world of late-19th and early-20th century America through the career of Marcella Sembrich and the opulence of the era. Join us as we explore the diverse music that mirrored the culture of the time – in a series of concerts, lectures and films, concluding with an elegant vocal recital rich with gems from Sembrich’s operatic repertoire – all performed by today’s finest concert artists.

Lakeside with Altissimo Arts
Philadelphia’s innovative musical troupe, Altissimo Arts, brings a varied program of concert favorites – from Mussorgsky to Freddie Mercury – to the shores of Lake George.
Saxophonists Valentin Kovalev and Aiwen Zhang, are joined by pianist Hanchien Lee and Philadelphia Orchestra violist, Meng Wang, for a program that soars with Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” Milhaud’s “Scaramouche Suite,” Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” John Williams’ theme to “Schindler’s List” and Freddie Mercury’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” among other selections.
Newly arrived on the Philadelphia scene, Altissimo Arts is a chamber music series that aspires to celebrate chamber music as “a social gathering of friends in an atmosphere fostering shared discovery.”
