The Timber City Adventure Race in Maquoketa, Iowa is an exciting annual event that combines outdoor challenges and athleticism with canoeing/kayaking, biking and running. This race can be done in teams or individually.

Canoe/Kayak: Participants start with an 11-mile canoe or kayak journey on the Maquoketa River. The river winds below towering limestone bluffs and through secluded valleys, providing a scenic and adventurous experience.

Biking: After the water leg, racers transition to a 12-mile bike ride. The bike route begins with a challenging incline before continuing through picturesque landscapes.

Run: The final segment is a 5K run, which combines running through Maquoketa's beautiful trails and downtown areas. The race concludes on Main Street at the Green Space .
