This event is focused on connecting Veterans with support and new friends in the area of fishing.

All Veterans can show up with a valid Veterans ID and fishing licenses and jump on board a boat. Local volunteer anglers would be greatly appreciated if they would like to donate a boat and take a veteran fishing for a few hours with them on Veterans Day it would be greatly appreciated.

For those family members not getting on the boat with the Veteran, there will be live entertainment and a food truck on site.

If you would like to bring extra rods and reels to show children lessons on how to fish, bait a line, or maybe even how to become a pro fishing team feel free to reach out with your idea for children’s entertainment.

The event is free for Veterans and their families.

Bring lawn chairs if you wish

First 20 Veterans that reach out to Veterans With Christ will be guaranteed a fishing slot for the day. If we get several more request the trips will be dependent on the number of fishing boats present.

Community groups and support groups that specialize in Veterans Care are encouraged to show up and support by being present or maybe even fish with a vet.
