Celebrating Winter on the Northern Plains

Vinterfest is a month-long celebration of winter, here on the Northern Plains. The festival seeks to promote educational, recreational, and cultural heritage programming throughout central North Dakota for the public’s enjoyment. From artisan workshops to cross-country skiing, Vinterfest invites you to learn new hobbies and share in time-honored traditions.

Take and Create Craft Kit: Blind Date with a Craft Kit

Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library 

Make a craft at home. This month’s craft is a surprise!

Stop by the Adult Information Desk to read the clues on each kit and pick a kit to take home with you.

Supplies are limited and will be given out on a first come, first served basis. 6th-12th graders and adults can pick up a craft kit at the Adult Information Desk or request a kit during curbside service.

Teens and Adults only.

Free, first come first served.

Sweetheart Hike

Hike starts at our Visitor Center/Museum.

Vehicle entrance fees are required and annuals are available for purchase.
