Más que baile
A collection of unpublished pieces ranging from minimalism and abstraction to corporatism and totality, some broken, others whole, deconstruction and structure, the neutral concept of flamenco in its logic or flamenco as flamenco in its variety, its mix, its mosaic.
At the point of convergence, the stories of my voice, your voice, their voice, voices—recreating a new recital, flamenco.
My body with all its possibilities, the voice with the words that bring stories, the history of flamenco, stories of my flamenco that bring me back to the body, with movement as the main focus, and its relationship with the environment, time, space, and the surrounding light.
Sonorities that transport new ways of hearing—sound reproduction, acoustics, reverberation—how we can use the possibilities, qualities, and millions of ways to listen to ourselves and to flamenco, always as the starting point, thus the freedom of codes as a vehicle for this journey.
Something eternal in movement, you absorb the new, becoming the new, which comes from the original.
