Schedule of Events

2pm: Hell of a Year - Starring Elli Legerski

She was always taught that she must be loyal. And loyalty is the most important thing in this world. Men leave. Mean people leave. Never her! But what if being loyal kinda feels like ****?

Join us for the year one woman deconstructs loyalty as a concept, versus loyalty in dysfunctional practice. A love and forgiveness story.

7pm: Bent Compass - Starring Neil Brookshire

Follow the journey of an Army Medic from fresh recruit to seasoned combat veteran. From transcribed interviews detailing the effects of war on a personal level, the stories begin with Colin, years after his deployment, as a student teacher who witnesses an event during a teaching assignment. Because of his combat experience, he sees the situation differently than other teachers, and it causes him to reflect on how he got to where he is. At once personal, reflective, humorous, raw, and candid, these stories honor a man whose unique perspective speaks to both veterans and non-combat civilians alike.

8:30pm: No 40sandsingle - Starring Joyce Lao

Dr. Kara Kibara is a self-proclaimed and successful online dating expert. She has helped thousands of people find love, but she herself is still single in her 40s. In this interactive cabaret show, Dr. Kara goes back to her past and reflects on what went wrong (or maybe right) that caused her to still be loveless. She shares her insights on dating, relationships, and love, and she offers her advice on how to find the one. She relates her upbringing as an Indigenous - Asian - Filipino - Evangelical upbringing.

This is a funny, interactive, heartwarming cabaret and variety show featuring original songs, snippets of familiar 80’s and 90’s tunes, original songs as well as choreography, projections and monologues that will leave the audience laughing, crying, and inspired. It’s a must-see for anyone who has ever been on a date, has been scammed by an online influencer or a relationship expert or who has ever dreamed of finding love.
