8:30pm: Grabbing the Hammer Lane: A Trucker Narrative

Grabbing the Hammer Lane: A Trucker Narrative is a searing play about rebellion and fleeting moments for reconciliation. Matt, a long-haul trucker, hit the road to find himself-only to become imprisoned over time in a steel cell on 18 wheels. His father Clarence remained at home, diminishing with the passage of time and from the anguish he bore from losing the love he pushed away. The story chronicles the lives of Matt and Clarence who are at odds over their own rage-fueled choices. With humor, grit, and in-your-face honesty, Grabbing the Hammer Lane tells the story of two men living different sides of one story-a story about rejection, regret, separation, and the search for redemption.
